The Little Things

No one noticed, but this blog here recently had it’s 100,000th visitor.  There’s a tracking thingy over there on the right.  I’m not the prolific poster I was a year or two ago, so there isn’t much regular readership anymore but I still see over 100 visits/day.  The occasional click on the ads help pay for hosting and keep the site up.

These days for some reason the most traffic comes from people searching for pictures on the search engines.   Whatever.  Like I said, it pays the bills.  Funny, never would have thought my family pictures would have been so popular.

OK, my Spring Break 2008 pictures would not be considered as hot as what MTV’s Spring Break might have to offer but still, for a dad… These are pretty good.  There were far too many to post so I put the pictures on Googles pictures site.

Expecting some fancy european meal?  Hmm??   Well, none of that here.  We had traditional American chicken nuggets and onion rings.  Carrots, too.  Gotta have the veggies!

Well, even if the food wasn’t fancy, the presentation was…

Kids thought it was cute.  Especially the little love notes I taped to the bottom of their plates.  It’s a cool way to get the kids to eat all their dinner.  Tape something to the bottom of the plate and then fill the plate with food.  Then tell them they can only look if they finish all of their food.

Of course, we had no issues getting them to eat chicken nuggets.
