This would be a sad day in Beatles history for sure. One comment though...Yoko donated 70k 20 years ago? If there is one Beatles song synonomous with the name John Lennon, it would be Strawberry Fields Forever. I gotta believe that she could come up with a few more dollars so that something, anything respectful could be done with a place that meant so very much to her dead husband. Turn it into a shelter or something. I hope she doesn't give us even more reason to dislike her.
