11/16/2004 10:15:25 AM|||Chench|||So I've mentioned before how much I've learned from Terry and Dora and Brittany. Things I'm remembering for the future with my kids. Well recently, Brit went to a sweet-sixteen party. She's 15. Dora wasn't incredibly at ease with it and neither was I for that matter. She's growing too fast and and and....boys. ugh. Anyway, she lived through the party of course. It's not her we have to worry about, but our stress levels. I don't know how I'm going to do it when Katherine is older and Gary is a completely different issue. Kris asked me to have a talk with him soon about something he asked her about. Basically, it comes down to -- puberty. eesh. He's nine!

Anyways, it's a little premature Brit, but there's a great line of advice in an email I recently got from Nancy:
"Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile,
because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile."
