I've been meaning to mention that Gary has a new violin and he seems somewhat interested in learning to play it. I'm pretty excited about it. I'd love to see the kids learn an instrument, especially if they get any kind of formal instruction. Gary will have violin class once a week and there'll be some kind of performance at the end of the school year. I'm hoping he takes a real interest in the instrument and doesn't just think it's a toy. So far so good. He's interested and that's half the battle. I guess we'll see how it goes when he's required to practice every night.

As far as Kathrine in concerned, her favorite instrument is playing air-drums to "I Love Rock and Roll" in the car. Gotta start somewhere.
