9/4/2004 03:13:53 PM|||Chench|||Sharon Deluca. I'm sure this surprises most or all of you, maybe including Sharon. I met Sharon through Matt, he of the infamous Deluca family. (more on them at a later date) I've always felt that I knew her from before meeting her through Matt, but could never put a finger on it. Maybe she just reminds me of someone. So anyway, here's the story...

I'm hanging out at B+B's one night shortly after my separation and all 3 of of the Deluca boys and their women are hanginn out. They're all interested and concerned with how I'm doing and how Katherine is doing. At some paint I express my concern that I'm not sure that I'm doing the right thing for Katherine and that I'm worried about how Katherine will feel about me. How the separation will affect my relationship with her. I had a major insecurity problem with this. Well, Sharon starts telling me some personal things about her life. Things I wont publish for the entire world. She hit a nerve though. By the end of our conversation, I was blubbering right in the middle of the bar. What she said gave me such relief and such a feeling of hope in regards to having a normal relationship with my daughter. Sharon, I hope you remember that night. I will never forget it.
