9/7/2004 03:34:30 PM|||Chench|||The little girl we used to call "Beast" will be 15 on Saturday. Watching Brittany grow has been and continues to be an incredible experience for me. Seeing how she's come through some of what Katherine and in some ways, Gary as well have and will go through give me a real feeling of hope for my own kids. She's become a bright, thoughtful and respectful young lady which is a tribute to how she is being raised. Listening and watching Dora and Terry is like having the author of a "how to raise your kids in today's world" type book as your best friends. There's discipline with education and love without spoiling. I see in Brittany the best qualities of the people around her that love her. Learning from your good influences is an amazing quality that she obviously possesses.

Realize it or not, you and your family have taught me a lot. Happy Birthday Beast. Keep soaking up the good stuff. Keep learning from those who have something worthwhile to teach. Listen, don't just hear. Keep your head up. Stay positive. Smile.
