Long day today, but a productive one. That always feels good. Katherine was great yesterday. We all had fun playing with the kids new hermit crabs, Herman and Ariel. The best part was seeing Shayna’s interest in the new family members. Poor doggy didn’t get to play with the crabbies.

 

Katherine will he starting her transition to pre-K in July. She’s growing so fast. Soon, maybe in a year or so I’ll start regretting that she’s decided to continue growing. Darn kids never listen! J

 

Tonight I’m going home to help Gary with his school project, a diorama about “Charlotte’s Web.” I love helping him when he’s really interested in what his doing. He gets so focused.

 

This is the kind of stuff where being a parent is rewarding and worth all the work. Achievements in school for example are great. Its payback for the had work. I know Gary will do great on this project. It’ll be fun, too.
